Had
a slow breakfast on the Balcony and a long Whatsapp video conversation with
Laura, who’s just collected the keys to the unit Laura and Tom have rented. They
have many friends who will help them move on Saturday.
We
spent most of the day in Ulm, and particularly liked the old fishermen’s
quarter.
The "Crooked House" was built in 1443, and foundations were reinforced in 1873 to stop the building sinking further.
We
also visited the Ulm Cathedral with the highest spire in Europe. Having climbed
the 700 plus steps to the top last time we were here, we figured that we didn’t
need to do it again.
Stopped for lunch - ice cream!
Passed
the Rathaus (Town Hall), but couldn’t find the way in.
Back
in Nattheim again, just in time before the storm hit. Had to come in from the
balcony.
Time to move on again, we've really enjoyed our time with Erich and Ursula and they have both looked after us very well. Just back from a very tasty dinner at the local Nattheim brewery.
